**_RAPS is Seeking a Full Time Support worker to Assist an individual with Autism (E37)_**

**_Location_**_: Fort Saskatchewan_

**_Days: Flexible Schedule _**

**_Hours: UP to 40 hours a week between 7am-5:30pm_**

**_And/or 5:30pm to 12 am (midnight)_**

**_PLUS,_** _average of 16 sleep shift hours. _
- Includes **at least one weekend a month**. _
- Combination of days/evenings/sleep overnights_

**_Job Description_**_: _Duties include but are not limited_ _to_supporting life skills, providing predictability through scheduled routine, implementing goals and strategies. Social skills, exercise program, and outings (mileage is paid) as well as personal care, light medication administration, documentation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship. _

**_Qualifications and Other Requirements_**_: _Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check_, must be a non-smoker, speak fluent English and have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for outings. Experience working with developmental disabilities or autism, an understanding of anxiety and/or one year of post-secondary is considered an asset. A sense of humor and interest displayed and demonstrated through academics or otherwise would be beneficial. _
- First Aid, CPR certificate considered an asset, Patient and able to provide unique solutions to problem-solving. _

**_Rate of Pay_**_: $18.40-$22.97/ hours
- wage based on experience and qualifications _

**_Milage : $0.30/km_**
