**Position Overview**:
We are seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Housekeeping Department as Housepersons for evening (PM) and overnight shifts. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining cleanliness in public areas, supporting room attendants, and ensuring our property looks its best around the clock.

Available Shifts:

- **PM Shift**: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- **Overnight Shift**: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain **hallways, stairwells, lobbies, elevators**, and other public spaces.
- Assist with **stripping guest rooms**, delivering supplies, and supporting room attendants.
- Empty garbage and recycling stations; sanitize bins and utility areas regularly.
- Complete **deep cleaning duties** such as baseboard and stairwell scrubbing, carpet spot cleaning, and window washing.
- Respond promptly to requests for **linens, towels, extra amenities, cots, or cribs**.
- Conduct **overnight floor sweeps** to clear room service trays or report safety concerns.
- Ensure **housekeeping closets and carts** are stocked and organized.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and chemicals safely and wear **PPE** where required.
- Communicate with front desk and overnight team regarding special tasks or guest needs.
- Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
- Maintain and restock housekeeping carts and closets daily.
- Employees will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Weekends, holidays, evenings, and on call basis are common.
- Immediately log and store all lost and found items.
- May be rotated in and out of all areas of the hotel and called on for assistance.
- Greet all guests and co-workers in a friendly manner.
- Answer all guests questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services.
- Carry out any reasonable request by management.
- Maintain a safe work area at all times.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive determined by the housekeeping manager or supervisor. Performance will be monitored using tools such as checking rooms, measuring attendance, punctuality, and teamwork. Performance reviews are conducted annually.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in **housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services** is an asset.
- Physically able to **lift, push, pull, bend, and walk/stand for long periods**.
- A **strong attention to detail** and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and remain productive during slower periods.
- Must be able to work **weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts**.
- A team player with a **positive attitude** and **dependable work ethic**.

Pay: $16.50-$17.60 per hour
