**Job description**

**We are looking for team members for the winter season. Class 3 tandem drivers, skidsteer operators, and sidewalk crew members. Snow removal is an on call program. Any overtime worked is paid in that same pay period. We work with the E.I. program so you don't lose coverage.**

**Sidewalk crew**:
**Duties**:

- Be available to work any day of the week as snow dictates
- Check for snow at 3am with work typically starting at shop for 4am
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment (greasing, pre-use inspections)
- Load/unload sweepers and snow blowers
- **Requirements**:

- Physically capable of shoveling snow for up to 14 hours a day with the potential of working multiple days in a row, weather dictating
- Previous experience with backpack blowers, sweepers and snowblowers
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- **Compensation**:

- Wage: $18+/hour depending on experience

Tandem Truck Driver:
**Duties**:

- Maintain and Safely operate Tandem Truck, hauling snow or gravel
- Operate skid steer or Loader to self-load (Occasionally)

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 3 with air brakes
- clean commercial abstract
- Experience driving in the winter

Compensation:

- 23-27$/hour

Skid steer Operator:
**Duties**:

- Drive 1 ton truck and trailer hauling a skid steer to various sites throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area.
- Load and unload a skid steer unsupervised.
- Secure a skid steer to a trailer properly.
- Operate Skid Steers pushing, piling and loading out snow.
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment (greasing, pre-use inspections).
- Fill out digital snow logs, FLHA's and Pre-use Inspections.

**Requirements**:

- Skid steer experience (500 hours minimum)
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Ability to work night shift (snow removal rarely occurs during the day)
- Ability to work 12hours multiple days in a row. Weather conditions will affect the amount of work required.

Compensation:

- Wage: $25+/hour depending on experience.
- Basic PPE can be provided (hard hat, Hi-Viz vest. gloves, glasses, earplugs)

**Experience**:

- landscaping: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence and Clean Drivers Abstract (preferred)
