This Project Manager will be working with designers, general contractors, electricians, other tradesmen as well as local municipalities throughout the construction process. The Project Manager will be managing a team of one and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and lead construction and renovation activities for all retail locations
- Develop, manage, and maintain budgets, regularly report on current budget standings and project status to key stakeholders by month and project
- Guarantee the on-time procurement of retail store fixtures, millwork, equipment, and other items to meet store launch schedules
- Establish and manage relationships with general contractors, engineers, architects, designers, equipment manufacturers, and other departments within the company to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications, details, and project documents
- Value engineer the design elements and work scope of projects to meet budget constraints and timelines
- Minimize construction expenses by leveraging accessible local grants and resources
- Effectively maintain a digital shared repository for construction and maintenance including quotes, invoices, receipts, project plans and drawings, and site audits
- Oversee facilities and IT at retail and head office
- Maintain working knowledge of security systems, camera systems, and all facilities
- Support miscellaneous construction and facilities-related tasks as needed

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years of related retail experience in the design and construction industry overseeing a range of projects ranging in size and complexity
- Proven track record in the management and execution of full-cycle construction project
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide guidance to contractors, architects, and consultants
- Working knowledge of legislation, codes, and zoning bylaws
- G License with clean driver's abstract
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Open to travel anywhere in Ontario and may involve future travel opportunities across Canada
- Intimate knowledge of retail store design as an asset
