We specialize in hauling **grain, fertilizer, and frac sand** across [region or states you serve], and we’re looking for an experienced **Dispatcher** to help keep our trucks moving and our customers happy.
**About the Role**
As our **Truck Dispatcher**, you’ll be the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and our operations team. You’ll schedule and coordinate loads, keep communication running smoothly, and help make sure every delivery is handled efficiently and safely. We’re also looking for someone who’s comfortable building relationships and doing a bit of **sales work** — following up with customers, booking loads, and helping us grow.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and dispatch trucks for grain, fertilizer, and frac sand deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor load progress and resolve any delivery or logístical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, loads, and routes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Assist with rate negotiation, load booking, and basic sales follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations.
**Qualifications**
- **2+ years** of experience in truck dispatching (preferably in agriculture, fertilizer, or frac sand).
- Strong knowledge of regional and interstate logistics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with dispatching software and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
