To assist in the development and implementation of creating appealing and creative digital content for a company’s various social media platforms. Community Outreach to residents of Glen Cairn/Pond Mills neighborhoods and surrounding areas.
- Reporting to supervisor, assist with the development, and implementation of programs
- Monitor social media accounts (e.g., Instagram or TikTok)
- Track campaign performance
- Manage a content calendar and program calendar
- Maintain brand image across social media channels
- Building a social community to elevate the brand
- Drive social media campaigns
- Upload and manage social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok)
- Ensure the facility, properties, activity areas, equipment and supplies used for the program are prepared, secure, and clean.
- Maintain records of attendance of program activities, and safety checks during the outreach program;
- Act as an appropriate/positive role model for area residents;
- Liaise with community volunteers, youth and area partners to promote program activities;
- Participate in relevant staff training, staff meetings and prepare all appropriate paperwork;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Six months to one year of job-related experience preferred;
- Some secondary education in marketing, social media, photography, and communications or two years of community college preferred;
- Must have camera equipment;
- Must have a Current CPR and First Aid or a willingness to obtain PRIOR to the start date;
- Must have a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) prior to the start date;
- Previous experience with diverse populations;
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team member;
- Ability to speak French, Spanish, or Arabic would be an asset;
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Social media management: 1 year (preferred)
