At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

We are currently hiring a **Wood Shop Fabricator** to join our Countertop Shop.

Key responsibilities:

- Reading drawings, in order to assess the materials needed in fabricating countertops,
- Responsible for millwork items,
- Receiving and unloading of products,
- Shop care and cleanup;
- and other duties as assigned.

This position requires standing, repetitive moderate-to-heavy lifting, operating forklifts and performing accurate measurements. You will be required to use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience working with hand tools, table saws and other fabricating tools.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift repetitively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with co-workers in a professional manner.
