**Role Purpose**:
Supports manufacturing by maintaining quality system support. Works with various manual and automated tools. Assures skilled and timely support to manufacturing customers. Works with quality, materials and other support departments to meet all targeted goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works in both a laboratory and production environment to support and maintain quality systems for Kipling Zanathane department.
- Routinely test chemicals using various instrumentation such as: titrators, viscometers, laser particle size analyzers, speed mixers, hegman gauges, spectrophotometers, pull gauges, and other typical foam test instruments and equipment.
- Complete quality checks on resin systems and prepare batch formulations and foam samples, including subsequent sample preparation for analytical testing.
- Use of specialized testing software and Excel to analyze data and prepare statistical studies of the process when investigations are necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment on a regular basis.
- Conduct plant assessments, NCR tracking, document control change and Quality records tracking and control to support audits and certifications.
- Support containment activities and investigations.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of critical testing parameters, issue quality alerts and routinely summarize and report findings to supervisors and production team.
- Implement and sustain the 5S methodology in your area of activity.
- Strong planning skills and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
- Support the operation as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Associates degree in a technical field of study.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- 1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
