**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Assembly of Components:

- Assemble bushings and bearings using swagging and press-fit techniques, ensuring a secure and precise fit.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and schematics to maintain accuracy in the assembly process.

2. Part Marking:

- Perform part marking as required, ensuring accurate identification and traceability of components.
- Utilize appropriate marking tools and techniques to ensure clarity and durability of markings.

3. Masking and Painting:

- Prepare components for painting by masking shafts and other areas as necessary to protect surfaces from overspray.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and disposal of paint materials and equipment.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Maintain and operate assembly and painting equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.

Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in assembly or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Previous experience in assembly and painting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with torque specifications and assembly techniques for mechanical components.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions and specifications accurately.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and work in various conditions.

**Work Environment**:

- This position is typically performed in a manufacturing setting, with exposure to noise, machinery, and chemical materials associated with painting.
