The Entrepreneurship Education Assistant is a professional coach and mentor who guides adult learners through running a small business. The role involves motivating adult learners and aspiring entrepreneurs, implementing strategies that will help grow an SIIT merchandise pop-up shop from the ground up. Working collaboratively with a team of educational professionals, the Entrepreneurship Educational Assistant will demonstrate a strong commitment to create and maintain a creative and positive learning environment at SIIT. These include some of the following broad areas of accountability:

- Help students produce a business and marketing plan
- Show students how to conduct engaging presentation
- Teach the students how to balance positive cash flow and maintain accounts
- Respect, honour and acknowledge the uniqueness of each student including: their unique languages, cultures, traditions, histories and prior learning and life experiences
- Create and maintain a positive learning environment that provides the opportunity for meaningful learning and academic progress
- Assess students strengths and weaknesses and guide development
- Adhere to and promote academic regulations and SIIT policies and procedures
- Communicate with students to better understand their vision and goals
