Specific Accountabilities:
- Leads a Review Team, comprised of internal faculty, the Quality Assurance Coordinator and other student service representatives if applicable, to conduct an audit to ensure CQAAP standards are being followed in all areas of program delivery.
- Gathers and reviews information and analyzes data to determine if academic programs, course standards and procedures are being met. A final report will be produced summarizing the findings and program recommendations
- Analyzes collected data and investigates the satisfaction of students/graduates/employers.
- Reviews information that the Program Advisory Committees (PAC) are following the PAC policy and advises on selected programs.
- Reviews program related documents and information about faculty, program changes, and historical quality assurance reports.
- Confidentiality is very important as the auditor will have access to lots of data. If the auditor was to breach confidentially or share documents with other colleges or external contacts, there could be impacts to the college.
About the Position:
The auditor will be the lead of the Comprehensive Program Review process. This role is to review college data to determine the program level of quality offered at Lambton College, ensuring the academic and operational standards are being achieved. Several data reports and program documentation will be reviewed, such as KPI reports, enrolment, retention, graduate trends, as well as course outlines. The auditor, in collaboration with the Program Review Team, will conduct focus groups to further collect data on student, graduate, employer and faculty feedback to overall assess the quality of the program design and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-year university degree or a 3-year university degree plus specialized professional certifications required
- Up to 5 years’ experience with Lambton College policies and procedures
- Post-secondary teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of the CQAAP standards
- Experience with research methods and quality assurance processes
