Position Summary:
The Test Specialist I assists with the verification of the System and Software
Requirements prior to delivery to the Product Specialist Team for final System Validation.
S/he works closely with the other Test Specialists, coordinating with the Engineering
development team and may also be required to assist the Product Specialist team.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learns to create test case and run them on major Adacel Product lines and
- knowledgeable regarding their functions and specification.- Assists with the implementation of automated test tools.
- May be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving issues.
- Utilizing product testbeds for issue replication and analysis.

Qualifications:
Required
- Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming

or network administration is usually required.
- Understand the basic of working with defect tracking software tools and

requirements management tools.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and

Outlook.
- Desired:
- Have completed st year of bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related
- field.- UNIX and/or Linux experience.
- Have some knowledge of the AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
- Have interest in Aviation and/or Air Traffic Control practices.
- Experience with Scripting languages such as Python or equivalent.
- Have interest in simulation or training systems.

- Occasional lifting - up to pounds.
- Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movement.
