**OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE**:
The Office Administrator will have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, prioritize tasks, and effectively coordinate office operations. This position will have a high level of confidentiality as the Office Administrator will be privy to confidential payroll information and benefit claims for all colleagues.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
HUMAN RESOURCES:
- Responsible for recruiting full time, part time, contract positions for production staff and organize the interview process
- New hire letters/paperwork for production staff and onboarding
- Maintain and update employee files and benefits
- Responsible for communicating employee lifecycles to Human Resources/payroll for processing
- Responsible for updating and communicating employee wellness/benefits to Human Resources/ payroll
- Confirming payroll register is correct for processing
WORK SAFE:
- Main Contact between the workplace and WCB
- Responsible for managing WCB claims, RTW plans and paperwork
- Lead the JHSC Committee and communication
- Responsible for organizing employee training, tests (respiratory, hearing)
- Required to be up to date on Health & Safety measures within the workplace
- Preparing OHS reports on a quarterly basis (PB requirement)
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Keeping Track of Employee attendance through Excel, i.e. Vacation, sickness, late, other absences.
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Distribution of incoming mail
- Manage staff sales
- Responsible for building security, keys, and key fobs
- Responsible for ordering office supplies, Uniform cleaning and lunchroom supplies
- Duties to be assigned as necessary
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Proven experience in **HR **and **Work Safe**
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP
- College/ Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification is preferred
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
