**Position Summary**: The General Maintenance/Grounds team is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, lawn, ground care, and repair tasks, including comprehensive snow and ice removal to ensure safe and accessible pathways, in order to uphold B-Hospitality’s standards at Windermere House, contributing to a positive and memorable experience for guests and staff.
**Reports to**:Maintenance Manager
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry and basic plumbing.
- Inspect, clean and maintain all equipment, including but limited to HVAC systems, kitchen appliances and laundry facilities.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, coordinating with external vendors for repairs when necessary.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues related to plumbing, electrical systems and general facility repairs.
- Execute minor repairs to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and take corrective action to prevent hazards.
- Maintain the exterior of the property, including landscaping, parking areas, and walkways.
- Perform snow removal, lawn care and other outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
- Order necessary supplies and coordinate deliveries as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments such as housekeeping and front desk to address maintenance issues.
14. Maintain and adhere to a strict preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order.
15. Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on call 24/7 in the event of an emergency.

- Proven experience in general maintenance work, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
