Sign Fabricator

Title**:Sign Fabricator**

Reports to: Production Manager

**Canada Trade Signs **is a growing company, looking for a high-performing individual who aspires to work and learn in an environment where they can help make an impact on delivering results. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an experienced sign fabricator to our production facility.

Working out of our Scarborough headquarters, our team must be professional in attitude and appearance while demonstrating a positive impression of CTS. It is imperative that our products are fabricated and installed with the utmost care and ensure we leave the client satisfied with their final product and installation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safety is our number one concern -always work safely following all processes and procedures set forth in your Health and Safety training.
- Review work orders carefully and ensure that every detail of the job is understood - ask questions for clarification if instructions are not clear to ensure accuracy
- Properly fabricate the signage exactly as per the instructions you have been provided
- Able to read and interpret standard drawings to build signs to customer specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy of specification before production.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required from time to time.
- Able to work successfully independently, as well as with others on large projects when needed.
- Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

**Requirements for this position**:

- Minimum 2 years of Sign Industry experience
- Experience in fabrication and welding is preffered
- Good work ethic
- Knowledge and experience with safely using a variety of machines and power tools
- Communication skills, verbal and written are a must. Able to work in a team environment and individually.
- Ability to work in a team and multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Full G License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON M1B 4Z4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Signage: 2 years (required)
- Metal fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
