**Summary/Objective**:
The Procurement Analyst is tasked with planning and executing the sourcing and vendor management activities underpinning the procurement of goods and services used within the company. This role involves cost analysis, contract negotiation, and strategic solutions to improve supply and vendor management. Additional duties include inventory management, delivery scheduling, ordering and tracking of product; maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

**Essential Functions/ Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an approved vendor list, identify essential suppliers/vendors for assessment
- Prepare and amend purchasing transaction documents (Purchase Orders, requisitions, etc.) in a timely manner
- Respond to queries from vendors and internal business operations
- Assist, investigate and resolve purchase order, invoice, and receiving variances
- Manage shipment related issues with vendors and customs brokers
- Eliminating all inefficient cost and non-value activities
- Establish and maintain close working relations with suppliers to optimize deliverables
- Designing and implementing processes and procedures in and around strategic plans and programs in relation to purchasing activities
- Establish delivery schedules and monitoring progress
- Develop in-depth knowledge of an IT vendor risk assessment framework and analysis tools and processes
- Process a high volume of transactions with speed and accuracy

**Supervisory Responsibility**:
This role does not have any supervisory responsibility.

**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor management and procurementincluding management of third-party vendors and contract negotiation
- Demonstrated experience in Vendor Management, IT Contract Review
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization
- Highly attentive to detail with strong clerical and organizational skills
- PMP or Supply chain management experience (preferred)

**Work Environment**:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

**Physical Demands**:
This position requires sitting or standing at a computer desk for extended periods of time. In addition, the employee must regularly bend, reach, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

**Travel**:
0% - 5% travel may be required.
