**The Role**:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all warehouse locations are clearly labelled and that all parts and/or locations are clearly marked with Kinetics Drive solutions’ part numbers
- Ensure that all inventory items are stored safely and in accordance with applicable WorkSafe BC and other regulations
- Ensure that inventory items with special storage requirements are stored in a manner that will prevent deterioration, theft, or damage
- Perform weekly cycle counts to ensure the accuracy Kinetics Drive Solutions’ computerized inventory records
- Maintain and organize “Stores” area
- Process all warranty returned goods in accordance with Kinetics Drive Solutions’ policy(ies) and inform Purchasing Manager of such goods received
- Identify damaged or obsolete inventory, and brings these items to the attention of management for further action
- Picking of all inventory items for direct sales to Kinetics Drive Solutions’ customers, as well as to satisfy production and project requirements
- Ensure that inventory is organized to facilitate annual and periodic inventory counts
- Manage inventory of shipping and packing supplies - must ensure that materials are available when needed.
- Ensures that the lines of communication between the Warehouse and the Production and Purchasing departments are optimized and professional
- Monitors inventory levels for consumables and shop supplies, and advises Purchasing department
- Follows inspection procedures to ensure the condition and specifications of the goods are as ordered
- Ensures the Receiving/Shipping Area of the warehouse is secure during the workday
- Provides accurate information and prompt assistance to staff and vendors whenever required.
- Reports any unusual circumstances or incidents immediately to Purchasing Manger
- Coordinates the receiving, unpacking, sorting, labeling repacking, and distribution for the delivery of new and surplus equipment and supplies within the organization
- Uses mechanical and power vehicles (forklifts/pallet jacks) to load and unload goods from carriers
- Responsible for cycle counts and replenishing inventory
- Acts as back-up for Shipper/Receiver
- Demonstrates the values of safety, teamwork, service, integrity, accountability, and ingenuity
- Other duties as assigned.

**You could be a great fit if you have**:

- 1 - 3 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Proven organizational skills
- 3 - 5 years inventory experience in a production environment
- Proficiency with MS Office products; Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong self-initiative in improving work processes and Internal Control
- Attention to detail, especially ensuring specific steps are followed to complete a task
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Forklift certified
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
- Knowledge of WHMIS
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds
- Ability to read and recognize product variations
