**Duties**:

- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Repair or restore existing structures by replacing damaged parts or making necessary adjustments
- Select and evaluate materials for defects
- Work with various tools including but not limited to saws, hammers, drills, planes, sanders, and grinders

Qualifications:

- Valid drivers license and vehicle
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Physical ability to work with tools and lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills to work effectively with clients and other team members

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Grande Prairie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
