**Purchasing Coordinator**
**Dependable Truck & Tank Limited** was founded in 1975 and is, as it was, a family-owned and operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture highway tankers, trailers, and emergency vehicles to our clients specifications. Along with our manufacturing capabilities, Dependable is a large supplier of petroleum equipment for both the carrier and contractor industries in both commercial and residential installs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Source, price, and purchase truck parts and related components.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and records.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues.
- Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to forecast needs.
- Ensure all purchasing complies with company policies and budget guidelines.
- Track and report purchasing activities and costs.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in purchasing or parts management, preferably in the transportation or trucking industry.
- Knowledge of truck parts, brands, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
