Shift Requirements

1st Shift

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

**Position Summary**
Assists Operator in the set up and operation of a machine that automatically performs taping and gluing operations, to form corrugated products from corrugated board.

**Key Duties And Responsibilities**
- Assists in aligning guides, and stops to set up machine, using hand-tools and measuring instruments
- Positions corrugated board into feed mechanism
- Assists in measuring/inspecting for conformance with specifications, and observes machine operations for evidence of malfunction and products for defects
- Scans finished product to verify accuracy and clarity of folding, gluing, imperfections, or uneven edges, and sets them aside
- May feed or stack corrugated pieces in feed hopper
- Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

**Education Required**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

**Education Desired**
High School Diploma or Equivalent

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

**Work Experience Required**
Previous Taper Gluer, Machine, Etc. Helper experience

**Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Taper Gluer, Machine, Etc. Helper experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Physical Requirements**
- Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
- Capable of lifting heavy objects (maximum of 50 lbs.)
- Exposed to dusty conditions, moving machinery, and high noise levels
- Standing, stooping (kneeling), walking, and lifting on a daily basis, ability to stand for entire shift
