**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of NEW YORK STYLE pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or cooking roles, is preferred.
- Familiarity with pizza-making techniques and knowledge of various toppings and ingredients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations within a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy shifts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
