Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Lines Insurance Manager working in Lindsay, ON (or Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Port Perry, and/or Peterborough) onsite with flexibility to hybrid. In this leadership role, you will represent Stewart Morrison/Westland Insurance to the market and support key initiatives and goals. **The Opportunity**:
This position provides leadership to team members within our local branch network. You are knowledgeable with technical insurance products (personal lines and auto) and have the management skills to support the team in achieving the goals of the company, our clients, and employees.

**The Manager, Personal Lines Insurance**:

- Achieve service and marketing plan goals
- Conduct monthly service production meetings and performance conversations with team members
- Provide guidance and support to personal lines team to ensure they can succeed and accomplish their goals.
- Work with the leadership team, develop and deliver a retention and growth marketing plan for the team.
- Handle client inquiries and concerns effectively or accelerating to leadership as required.
- Branch administration responsibilities.
- Collaborate with People and Performance to attract talent, develop the team, provide effective coaching and mentoring of team members.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities and effectively manage changing priorities.
- Collaborate with other business unit managers to attain standards and operational levels.

**Here’s what you bring**:

- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma is preferred
- Proven results in people management/leadership experience,
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player within production and service teams
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- RIBO general Insurance license (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
- CAIB and/or CIP are an asset
- Experience with Broker Management Systems (TAM/Compuquote an asset)
- Proficient in company portals (Upload, Policy Changes, Inquiries, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
