This is an_ in-office _position. Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Develop and Manage a Portfolio**: Build your own book of business through proactive B2B cold calling.
- **Client Engagement**: Follow up with new and existing clients, offering freight solutions and closing deals.
- **Business Prospecting**: Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- **Rate Negotiation**: Negotiate rates effectively with freight carriers to secure competitive pricing.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Work closely with Account Managers and Logistics Coordinators to meet and exceed client needs and expectations.
**Core Qualities**:
- **Education and Experience**: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or comparable industry experience.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with familiarity in Outlook and Word.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- **Motivation and Attitude**: Highly driven with a proactive, go-getter mindset.
