We are looking for a **Millwork Finishing (Painter / Stain) **with at least 2+ years prior experience prepping, preparing and handling spray paint, and creating high quality finishes. Millwork industry experience is preferred, but auto or sign painting experience is acceptable.
You should be reliable, self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, take great pride in your work and enjoy working with your hands. **Requirements**:
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to use manual hand tools and machinery
- Ability to follow instructions and read work orders from our production team
- Must be available to work on weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
**Responsibilities**:
- Determine requirements of all job orders and components received;
- Prepare paint mix for sprayer according to color specifications, safety standards and manufacturer’s requirements;
- Transport parts into paint booth and spray with primer or adhesion promoter;
- Thoroughly cleans spray gun, tools and workspace following each job;
- Reviews painted pieces for quality issues after paint has dried to touch and alerts supervisor if there is a problem.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at the job site and in the shop
- Comfortably manage multiple projects effectively
- Clearly communicates to team timing and quality expectations and ensures these expectations are followed
- Follows up daily on all project
- Complete quality control inspections of each piece as it is being produced.
- Work overtime as needed.
**Salary**: $19.88-$28.51 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
