**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Order Picker**: Manually pick orders of natural and organic packaged food products and place them onto pallets for shipping. It is mostly picking in our dry storage, but could include picking in our cooler and freezer storage area. Main focus of this position.

**Delivery Driver**: Load the truck at our warehouse and deliver orders to our valued customers throughout the Lower Mainland, effectively handling situations as they arise (traffic delays, incorrect orders, returns, etc.). All Sundays plus back up on the other days (vacation coverage, sick time coverage, etc.).
- Operation of electric pallet movers and other equipment is required for both aspects of this position; we can provide training for this. The job is very physically demanding, involving lifting and moving of boxes and bags (30-50lbs) for the majority of the shift.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 12-8pm. It is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Shifts are 8 hours with a paid lunch break. Shift premium for hours worked after 9 pm and hours worked in the cooler/freezer.

**QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT**:

- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in warehouse work
- Class 5 license required, Air Brakes preferred
- Experience using warehouse equipment (i.e., electric pallet movers, low level order-picker, or forklifts) is preferred
- Experience doing deliveries with a 5-ton truck preferred
- Must be capable of physically demanding work, and have an eye for detail - accuracy is extremely important
- Must have the ability to achieve picking and accuracy goals without direct supervision and monitoring
- Self-initiative required

**SALARY + BENEFITS**:

- Order Picking: $20.85/ hour, starting wage with further increments (based on hours worked)
- Driving: $23.55/ hour, starting wage with further increments (based on hours worked)
- Premiums for work in the Cooler and/or Freezer, as well as a premium for hours worked after 9pm
