- As an Associate Claims Advisor, you will be working in a team reporting into the Claims Supervisor, Auto Physical Damage._
- Here are just _**_some_**_ of the interesting things you would be doing: _
- **_Investigating_** claims and determining coverage under a customer's policy
- **_Educating_** & providing support & information to our customers about the claims process
- **_Negotiation & settlement of claims_**, here is a chance to make a difference by helping people who have experienced loss & misfortune.
- And a few of the other things you'd be doing as well:_
- Answering the phone & clerical paperwork, so your previous office experience will help.
- The information captured within our claims system is accurate when processing claims payments.

Here's your Checklist:

- You have the ability to work well under pressure, with mínimal supervision, awesome
- You can multi-task between a variety of responsibilities, projects, and deadlines - Of course you can
- You have strong computer skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Who doesn't
- Most importantly you have excellent verbal & written communication skills, **_because_**, you can deliver exceptional customer service to our customers and brokers.
- We would love it if you had 1-3 years of prior insurance industry experience or experience within a brokerage setting.
- If you are actively pursuing CIP designation
- awesome If not, let's talk about how we can support your education.
- Having an undergraduate degree or Business Insurance diploma is an excellent asset as well.

**We are looking for someone who can work full-time hours. This is a hybrid role that does include the flexibility for you to work remotely. We also have regular in-person meetings, where we like to collaborate in our Cambridge office location, 252 Dundas Street North, twice a week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Starting on your first day, you will be included under our umbrella of flex benefits with dental, vision, medical coverage. And yes, we want you to have some time to relax & recharge, included for you to use are, 3 weeks vacation (pro-rated) and 1 paid floater day.**
