Roles and responsibilities include:
- Listening to clients' needs and suggesting hairstyle compatible with clients' physical features
- Providing clients with hair services including cut, shampoo and blowdry, color/dyes (i.e. bleach, special colors, highlights, ombre and balayage), perm (including digital perm and Japanese straightening perm) and hairstyling
- Analyzing hair and scalp condition and providing in-salon hair treatment or advising on beauty care treatments for hair and scalp
- Providing quality customer services and maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- Monitoring inventory level of hair care supplies and reporting any shortages in a timely manner
- Performing receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, booking appointments and providing pricing information
- Ensuring tidiness of beauty stations and sterilizing tools, as needed
- Following all salon policies and procedures
- Advising customers on home care tips for hair
- Selling hair care products and services
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: From $15.65 per hour
