**The Role**
This position will play a key role to ensure long term growth and development of the FIU Team. In this role, the incumbent will be involved in all aspects of AML/ATF/Sanctions/Anti-Fraud program, with responsibility for monitoring and supervising the daily work of the Analysts responsible for transaction monitoring and operational workflow requests such as conducting investigative reviews. By following established policies and procedures for AML/ATF/sanctions and potential fraud identification, the incumbent’s main deliverables will be to 1) ensure an even distribution of work allocation, and 2) overall analysis of KPI’s to help drive operational performance in support of MCAP’s obligations regarding regulation, contractual agreements and MCAP’s overall operational efficiency.
This role is mandated to contribute to the overall efficiency and operational performance of each FIU Analyst by ensuring overall goals, plans, initiatives, and programs are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business objectives.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (describe responsibilities required to achieve desired outcome)**
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader MCAP relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Supervise and support a team of analysts to meet or exceed quality and production goals.
- Establish Key Performance Metrics to ensure Service Level Agreements are met on a consistent basis.
- Develop and implement a daily strategy for workflow allocation and distribution among the Analysts.
- Ensure timely completion of activities in accordance with customer engagement and business requirements.
- Work closely with Analysts to evaluate and identify needs for training, performance gaps, process improvements and provide recommendations to Associate Director, FIU Operations.
- Collaborate with the Manager Operational Controls on all quality control results to ensure gaps and efficiencies are gained.
- Complete and decision 2nd level reviews and escalations pertaining to all AML/Fraud activities.
- Prepare monthly reporting to Associate Director, FIU Operations, on task completion, distribution, alert escalations etc.
- Monitor assigned team’s activities and decision team escalations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Analysts to support development of staff and individual objective achievement.
- Compile, analyze, decision and format data and complete monthly Transaction Monitoring reports.
- Oversee, review, and analyze:
- KYC Audit Results & Reporting
- High Risk Renewals
- 3rd Party Onboarding
- 1st level Transaction Monitoring Alerts
- Unusual Transaction Reports (UTR)
- Maintain customer enhanced due diligence reports.
- Complete politically exposed persons (PEP) reviews for senior FIU management sign off
- Support MCAP SF Origination with valuable insight and direction on escalated files as required.
- Identify and articulate continuous improvement opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of AML/ATF/sanctions regulatory requirements to provide guidance to business partners regarding related processes and procedures.
- Actively participate in various AML/ATF/sanctions/Anti-fraud compliance initiatives.
- In accordance with assigned role, this role will be expected train and/or mentor other FIU Analysts and may be required to take over complex cases from other MCAP teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process and system improvements and participate in the implementation process.
- Understand how MCAP’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered and applied in day
- to-day activities and decisions.

**Lead and Manage Staff**
