Working closely with the Structures & Estimation Manager, the Junior Estimator responds to initial quote requests, and assists with all things estimates, pricing, and customer communication when it comes to the initial stages of our projects. This role is the Structures & Estimation Manager’s go-to for assistance and relies on them to help with prep, overflow, and everything in-between to ensure smooth customer service. This role comes with significant opportunities for growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares basic estimates; costing and pricing for projects as needed.
- Effectively communicates with customers on components of projects, including providing initial quotes and answering related questions.
- Provides assistance to Structures & Estimation Manager, and structures team, as needed.
- Promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by adopting a customer-centric approach.
- Assists with sourcing materials for projects, as necessary, following Custom Cubes’ best practices and preferred vendors.
- Creates initial file requests and assists with scheduling projects according to priority; keeping them on track, and within set completion dates.
- Assists with product research and procurement.
- Assists with shop drawings and layout plans.
- Other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of and basic proficiency with Sketch Up Layout software, or other layout software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research related to providing accurate project quotes.
- Aptitude for numbers, specifically related to calculating time and material costs.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably within a trade.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
- Effective communication skills.
