Heninger Toyota is looking for our next Business Development Specialist (Call Center Agent), this role reports to the BDC Manager,

The Business Development specialists will spend their time collecting customer information from every channel: internet, web chat, and inbound phone calls. You'll also improve customer retention with after-sale follow-ups (eg. birthdays, purchase anniversaries).

With guidance from your new manager, you'll also perform database mining tasks and contribute to targeted marketing campaigns.

**Base Pay: $3400 a year plus bonus pay**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Building relationships with existing customers
- Converting customer prospects into in-dealership appointments
- Maintaining the ever-changing appointment calendar
- Generate repeat and referral business opportunities
- Respond to inquiries quickly and accurately
- Follow up with all sales and non-sales customer contacts
- Keep CRM entries and the customer database 100% up-to-date
- Attend web-based training through Toyota University

**Desirable skills and qualifications**
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in a retail and/or call centre environment an asset
- Display a friendly and professional approach to all customers and visitors
- Telephone and digital communications proficiency
- Highly organized and able to interact well with Customers and Dealership Staff
- Capable of conversing with others pleasantly, clearly and effectively
- Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail/call centre environment
- Experienced and skilled with computers and different types of software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- Secondary language a strong asset
- Basic Toyota vehicle knowledge would be an asset, or alternatively the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
