**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Manager, Sales, you’ll oversee and lead the Canadian inbound sales development and account executive team. Your priorities are to lead the team to achieve hardware revenue targets, develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth, coach and mentor the sales team, and build out sales enablement & training resources.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Team Leadership and Management:

- Recruiting, training, and managing the sales team of 5-7, providing guidance, coaching, performance evaluations and fostering a motivated and high-performing sales culture.

Sales Performance Monitoring:

- Setting sales activity targets and tracking sales metrics, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and utilizing data to evaluate team and individual performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Generating reports for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and potential areas for strategic improvement.
- Build, manage and update relevant lists, reports and resources for the team of sales representatives so that they can best prioritize their time, track their efforts and iterate their approach as necessary.
- Run and manage commission numbers monthly for the team.

Market Research and Analysis:

- Conducting market research, staying updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and seize new opportunities.

Sales Training and Development:

- Providing ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement abilities.
- Regularly review demo and cold-call recordings and provide feedback to the reps.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Developing and executing effective sales strategies, setting clear objectives, and creating actionable plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Revenue Alignment:

- Work closely with other sales, marketing, customer experience and revenue operations leaders to ensure revenue alignment across the organization and to generate cross-team campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
- Communication internal & external promotions to the team, acting as the point of contact between marketing updates and sales.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to communicate product launches and delays to the sales team.

Systems Support:

- Assist and support to the team on an as needed basis for the various tools & technologies used in a deal process, including but not limited to: Shopify, Bread (for financing), Hubspot, Nooks.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5+ years in B2B sales, including experience as both an individual quota carrier and a team leader.
- Strong relationships or experience within real estate technology or adjacent industries preferred.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,**SKILLS** AND ABILITIES**
- Skilled communicator and confident public speaker; comfortable representing a brand on stage and with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to scale sales teams and exceed multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
- Data-driven operator with strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems.
- Advanced competency in prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals.
- Working skills in communication and collaboration.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong track record of meeting sales quotas.

**This position is required to be in person 3-4 days per week at our Waterloo office.
