**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**
- Performing blasting process on oilfield parts using the proper media and blasting pressure according to work order specifications.
- Responsible for reading and understanding blasting instructions on work orders
- Responsible for self checking before work is inspected
- Proper loading of blasting tables and the transfer of blasting tables to coating divisions once the blasting process has been completed and has passed inspection
- Responsible for all maintenance, housekeeping and log book entries pertaining to the Blasting Departmen

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 5 years of blasting experience with the ability to prepare intricate parts for coating. **This work requires finesse.**:

- Attention to detail when preforming blasting tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift and overhead crane experience and certification would be considered an asset
- Experience with oilfield parts would be considered an asset
- Available to work overtime & weekends if necessary, depending on workload
