**Spiritual Care Practitioner - Permanent PT $31.93-$37.57 per hour**

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to provide Spiritual and Religious Care services to the patients at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre in Sudbury (Clarion site). The Spiritual Care Practitioner serves as a ‘Minister of Presence’ through caring, supportive listening and prayer while possessing knowledge of human development including spiritual growth, behaviour and family dynamics. They plan liturgies and worship services for patients, coordinate observances of religious feasts and support multi-faith programming and education. Additional functions include pastoral care at end of life and support to families and staff dealing with grief and loss.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor Degree in Theology or related field
- Current registration with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC)
- A minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent
- An understanding of and willingness to minister in a multi-faith, multicultural context
- Endorsement by a faith community
- Fluency in French and experience in healthcare settings are considered assets
