**Position Overview**

Willy Dog Cart Attendants are responsible for processing guests’ orders, preparing food and drink items, and delivering excellent customer service. They will be required to operate cash registers/debit machines, propane grills, and other cooking equipment. Occasionally, restocking and storing inventory will also be necessary.

In carrying out the duties of this position, a great deal of autonomy is exercised. In all activities, it is crucial that they recognize that service to students and guests is a top priority.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate propane grills and other kitchen equipment to prepare and cook a variety of hotdogs
- Serve canned drink and chips
- Take orders and serve guests in accordance with excellent customer service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products and pricing of food, beverages, and specials
- Operate cash register to accept various types of tender from guests, provide proper change to guests, balance cash drawer and receipts, and document discrepancies
- Count and handle cash with accuracy
- Count till before every shift to ensure it contains the correct starting float amount
- Complete accurate opening and closing duties
- Track inventory and restock/store when needed
- Clean and sanitize all work areas and frequently touched surfaces before and after every use, including (but not limited to): inside and outside of Food Truck, preparation area, cooking equipment, storage areas, floors, service areas
- Work as a team with fellow Food Truck crew members

**Other General Duties**
- Adhere strictly to health & safety laws, policies, and procedures
- Report any hazards and health & safety concerns to the Owner
- Have Food Handlers Certificate
- Maintain confidentiality for business practices
- Work in an organized manner where detail, accuracy and confidentiality are critical
- Other duties as assigned

**Working Conditions**

Physical Demands

This position may spend long periods of time standing and walking. Lifting of supplies and materials up to 50lbs may also be required from time to time.

Environmental Conditions

This position performs work primarily in an enclosed food truck and is faced with frequent interruptions. Work is also required with and near a vehicle and hazardous kitchen equipment, including (but not limited to) a propane-burning grill. Some work may be required after regular hours and on weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
