The Sales Coordinator position will support the sales department, specifically with respect to group sales. This position will manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business, ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.If you are someone who works with resilience towards a common team goal, can communicate well with others, has an eagerness to learn and seek out new challenges, all while providing outstanding service to our guests, then we encourage you to apply**Job Requirements**- Prospect and develop new business opportunities from the corporate transient and meetings business-
- Negotiates RFP’s for corporate clients & manage the performance of key accounts-
- Responsible for preparing customer correspondence, contracts, proposals and internal reports-
- Maximize revenue whenever possible and target need periods-
- Maintains personal contact with key accounts through sales calls to promote hotel services and build loyalty-
- Lead sales presentations, site inspections and host FAM tours-
- Professionally represent the hotel in the community and industry at organized events-
- Manage and direct advertising & promotional activities-
- Assist in the development of annual business plan & presentation-
- Champion the social media plan to build awareness and followers-
- Maintain accurate records and track results**Qualifications and Attributes**- Minimum of 3 years' experience of corporate and event sales and/or hospitality-
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration and/or hospitality is an asset-
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills-
- Strong negotiation skills while maintaining effective relationships with clients-
