As a Leisure Sales Manager for a resort, your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and execute the sales strategies for the resort's Domestic and International FIT Wholesale, Tour & Travel Industry, Consortia and Corporate Business Travel markets in order to achieve annual revenue and profit goals.

**Job Requirements**:

- Analyze historical, current, and future hotel/market trends to develop a comprehensive sales strategy and plan
- Develop selling strategies to maximize revenue
- Solicit new business opportunities from international operators, travel agents, and wholesalers using sound business practices
- Expand account base by prospecting from various sources
- Nurture existing client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Represent the resort at Industry Trade Shows, Sales Events, and Networking functions with professional presentation skills
- Travel domestically and internationally to conduct sales calls as indicated by the annual Sales Travel Plan and report on each trip via pre and post-travel reports
- Organize and participate in meet and greet for familiarization trips for clients and agents
- Entertain domestic and international clients and conduct site inspections
- Communicate all client information to the appropriate departments via site visit notification forms and conduct pre-arrival internal meetings when necessary
- Prepare weekly or monthly activity and production reports for the Director of Sales
- Assist in pricing decisions and the development of the annual budget for the assigned segment(s)
- Research to modify existing or develop new wholesale contracts as needed based on hotel and/or market conditions
- Recommend and coordinate the deployment of any promotions as may be necessary
- Work with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies for the assigned segment(s)
- Attend and potentially present information for internal and external meetings as assigned
- Train, supervise, and conduct reviews of the wholesale coordinator position
- Execute additional projects as assigned by the Director of Sales
- Perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description when needed to assist operations

**Qualifications**:

- One or more years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Four-year degree in hospitality or another business-related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, guests, vendors, and co-workers
- Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and PMS systems
- A sense of humour and a love for dogs

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
