The Packaging Support plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation of the Packaging Department, which includes the following key criteria:

At Fresh Prep, every day may be different While we are currently in “growth mode”, things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:
- You will run the Zero Waste lines to package food items according to weekly recipe

Specifications.- You will be comfortable with machine set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting.- You will ensure that Zero Waste Packaging Schedule targets and KPIs are being met consistently week after week.- You will flag delays from the Packaging Schedule and Accuracy issues.- You will coach people to get alignment with Packaging Schedule and Accuracy targets.- You will ensure policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the day.- You will participate in incident investigations and corrective action.- You will assist in maintaining a clean, food-safe production facility.- Ensure machine operators have all the ingredients necessary at the start of the day (8AM).- Ensure that the (FOL) Front of the Line ingredients are staged in the proper order.- Maintain Machine and FOL segments always replenished.- Track inventory of ingredients and materials daily.- Coordinate and effectively communicate with other departments about potential shortages of ingredients or materials, and place top up requests when necessary.- Assist with overall cleanliness and organization of the department by adhering to the 6s program.
- Help brainstorm and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred.- Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.- Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.- Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs (13 kgs).
