About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the AVP of FP&A, the Director of IR and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s financial narrative, fostering investor confidence, and driving strategic growth. Your responsibilities will span both investor relations and strategic analysis, ensuring alignment with our long-term vision and objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

- Investor relations
- Craft a compelling narrative to communicate the company’s financial performance, strategic direction and growth opportunities to investors and analysts
- Organize and lead quarterly earnings calls, including the preparation of scripts, presentation and Q&A materials, and other call logistics
- Develop and execute an IR plan including proactive identification and outreach to existing and potential new investors
- Strategic initiatives
- Identify and assess opportunities to drive long term profitable growth
- Conduct industry and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Engage with business partners to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned with company objectives
- Lead corporate development as primary liaison for Finance, in close coordination with AGF Partners
- Prepare presentations for executive management, the Board of Directors and other oversight committees
- Contribute as active member of the Finance leadership team

Your Qualifications:

- 7-10 years of experience within the financial services industry would be an asset; minimum 1 year public financial reporting experience.
- Corporate development and/or investment banking experience
- Strategy development experience
- Exceptional problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influence and interpersonal skills to effectively work and communicate with all levels across the organization.
- Advanced level of understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Completion of CA designation. MBA, CFA would be an asset
