We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is. **As a Manager, Assurance your responsibilities will include**: - Leading and executing a wide range of audits, review engagements and compilations engagements for large to mid-sized owner managed businesses, over a variety of business sectors. Experience with ASPE and ASNPO frameworks is an asset. - Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, compilation and review engagements - Provide solutions to our clients for accounting matters and work with them for growth in current business and financial conditions - Contributing to new business development by understanding Doane Grant Thornton and its service lines, as well as utilizing your credibility with clients - Planning and leading teams, ensuring that client expectations are clearly communicated - Participating in the coaching and performance management process of the practice by conducting timely performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback and training to develop junior team members - Maximizing engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources **Doane Grant Thornton** If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick**: - CPA designation (or equivalent) - Experience working with owner managed private business clients within a public practice scope - Agriculture experience would be considered an asset - Demonstrated success in business development, advisory and team management - A team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the client.
