Pipe Layers will be responsible to work safely in different situations with pipe crews, truck drivers, and other mobile equipment on the job site. Draycor provides hands-on training to improve your skills for success. The individual must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be physically fit. Experience working in civil construction is a plus.

Work may included but not limited to backfill, sanitary sewer, storm water management, site drainage, water servicing, hydro, telephone and communications trenching along with site concrete and paving preparations, and base material installations. Draycor's environment varies with civil & infrastructure, industrial & commercial, residential development, and much more

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Complete & assist in physical labour on site, capable of lifting 50lbs
- Actively participate in regular cleaning sites, loading & unloading materials, and removing hazards
- Assist field staff and provide support when needed
- Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems
- Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints and coordinate layout with supervisors
- Check grade for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
- Safety and efficiently operate equipment on site
- Report any/all unsafe work, incidents and/or concerns to Supervisor and/or Site Superintendent
- Maintain a safe workplace by engaging in and implementing safe work practices.
- Communicate with Foremen and/or Site Superintendent to ensure a clear understanding of work and expectations

**Experience & Skills**
- Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to do strenuous physical labour & other physically demanding duties
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Self-starter & motivated to take initiative on tasks
- Strong communication
- Punctuality & reliable
- Experience in civil construction is a plus

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
