**What You Will Do**:

- Operate the Computer Numerically Controlled Machine
- Perform set-ups on the machine according to the product running
- Assist crane operators when needed
- Perform visual and gauging inspections
- Perform minor machine maintenance as required
- Troubleshoot as required
- Complete associated paperwork, including quality plans and cleaning plans
- Follow all rules, regulations and legislation
- Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

**Position Details**:

- Working at the South Edmonton Sucker Rod facility exclusively
- Permanent
- Full-time
- Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
- Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years CNC experience
- Mathematical aptitude required (equations, trigonometry)
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Understanding and working knowledge of measuring equipment is required
- Knowledge of dual spindle and indexing chuck operations is preferred
- Understanding and working knowledge of operating CNC machinery and tooling
- Organized, flexible and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Reliable
- Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English
- Overtime as needed
- Availability for shift work

**Physical Demands**
- Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day

**Certifications**:

- CNC Basic certificate considered an asset
