**The Opportunity**

The Project Manager is a role within the Professional Services cross-functional Agile team. The Intermediate Project Manager is accountable to the Director of Professional Services.

The Role*
This is a unique role where hands-on technical experience, delivery, project management, and customer-facing skills come together This resource will partner with clients, working between their business and technical teams, 3rd party stakeholders, internal scrum teams, product management, infrastructure, engineering, and architecture teams. Effective collaboration is essential.
- Proven success on projects/programs/products working as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Product Owner
- Strong technical acumen across Software Development, InfoSec, Infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, Microservices, APIs
- Is able to communicate well with technical team members, but is also able to have realistic conversations with the customer on what can/can't be done and in what timeframe
- Proven experience creating project plans, milestone schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk mitigations, documentation and communication of project status to internal executives and customers

**The Responsibilities**
**Backlog Refinement**
- Continuously develop and communicate the vision to the development team, while defining the features of the system solution
- Provide technical support to the Agile team during functional requirements definition to ensure that functionality is both technically achievable, and feasible within the project constraints
- Assist in managing resources on multiple projects in order to ensure schedules, milestones, and priorities are aligned to business goals and objectives
- Contribute to defining and estimating the development tasks
- Create a realistic vision and guide epics through the Agile system
- Work with the Agile team to perform research spikes and create proof of concepts

**Execution**
- Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modelling, coaching, and caring
- Serve as a leader throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing
- Perform design reviews to ensure that solutions follow the standard frameworks and design patterns, meet non-functional requirements such as extensibility and reusability, and adhere to community and corporate development standards
- Review current software to identify defects and opportunities to improve performance and stability, including technical debt reduction
- Review and assess the quality of unit, integration, and performance tests
- Identify and take ownership of project risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies and resolution of issues

**We will be VERY impressed if...**
- You have enterprise software engineering program management and project management experience for full SDLC
- You have experience using product backlog management tools like JIRA and Confluence for planning and execution
- You have experience with Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban
- You have the ability to capture and express vision, objectives, KPI’s and communicate progress to executive leadership
- You have 3 years of experience in software programming, lifecycle and support
- You have 5 years of experience in technical project/program management
- You have the ability to articulate technical concepts in business terms
- You have the ability to understand and decompose software product components and services
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have the ability to move or push towards a goal constantly
- You are comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment
- You have experience with cloud deployment, cloud management technology
