Imports / Exports - Logistics Coordinator

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Orders support after the purchase and inspection process is complete.
- Reconciliation of the buyers' commercial invoices and issuance of payments to different suppliers
- Negotiating the best rates and delivery times with carriers
- Planning and coordination of the transportation and delivery of import orders according to the best means of transport (Air / Sea / Land)
- Follow up on goods in transit
- Preparation of customs documents
- Correspond with customs and other local and international government agencies as well as customs brokers to ensure quick customs clearance and payment of various fees
- Organize the transportation of goods to our various warehouses once customs clearance has been completed.
- Make customs duty claims for products exported outside Canada
- Coordinate the movement of goods between our various storage sites in order to have the right products, in the right places, at the right times
- Management of all types of claims arising from the movement of goods

**Training**
- DEC, AEC, DEP in Administration or Administrative Techniques and / or
- International trade and / or
- Imports / Exports and / or
- Transport logistics and / or
- All other relevant training in a related field of activity

**Experience**:

- 10 years of experience in import / export management and / or transport logistics

**Skills**:

- Essential bilingualism written and spoken (English-French)
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good knowledge of other Office suite software (Word, Outlook) and the Internet
- Good organizational capacity
- Multi-tasking, versatile
- Teamwork

**Conditions of employment**:

- Full-time work (5 days / week - 40 hours)
