**Cashier Responsibilities**:

- _Greet customers in a kind and friendly manner_
- _Upholds and comply with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations_
- _Process cash register payments with cash, credit card, debit, cheque, voucher's, gift cards_
- _Demonstrate excellent customer service_
- _Wrap and place all merchandise in customers bags/buggy_
- _Maintain clean workspace, and frontend area_
- _Date checking of products_
- _Facing of products/ tidiness_
- _Collection of buggies/ baskets - inside and outside (parking lot)_

**Cashier Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- _Ability to learn quickly_
- _Punctual_
- _Ability to work in a fast pace environment_
- _Motivated and team orientated, and able to work independently_
- _Ability to communicate clearly and consistently oral an written form_
- _Strong Customer Service qualities_
- _Work in a safe and responsible manner_
- _Available to work flexible hours_
- _Evening and weekend availability is required_
- _Must be available to be scheduled anytime during the availability provided._

**Physical Requirements**:

- _Constant standing _
- _Lifting 10 - 25 pounds _
- _Constant computer and point of sale system use _
- _Frequent benching, twisting, lifting, carrying._

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 - 26 per week

**Salary**: $15.65 per hour
