The Russell Group of Companies is involved with non-destructive examination. Since 1972 the company has been a leader in its field and maintains a global presence. Our area of expertise is in corrosion detection in pipelines (oil and gas, water, and wastewater), boiler tubes, heat exchanges, etc. There are four companies under the Russell Group of Companies with divisions in research and development, manufacturing, sales, and services.

The Russell Group of Companies is seeking a full-time full-cycle bookkeeper. We are seeking individuals who are highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hours of work will be Monday -Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is in office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Post accounts payable invoices correctly to proper company, department and project or job number. Assist in processing of payment runs
- Assist with credit card reconciliation
- Issue invoices and monitor accounts receivable. Follow up on overdue receivables
- Assist in maintaining invoice tracking system for service inspections to ensure all invoicing is issued
- Act as assistant to the accounting administrator in all responsibilities of that position

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Equivalencies will be considered.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel, MS office and Sage 50
- 3-5 years direct experience in a bookkeeper position
- Good understanding of interdepartmental and intercompany transactions
- Experience with month end and year end working papers

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Education**:
