Sales Associate

**_Job Description_**

**_What will you do?_**
- Provides excellent customer service and promote a positive experience to Stanley Boat prospective customers and current customers
- Enters all orders in a timely manner and communicates the information to the respective personnel
- Maintains an accurate database - update customer information as required
- Interpret specifications and make the necessary calculations for pricing of tenders
- Supports ongoing sales support activities, such as quotations, follow-up quotations etc.
- Assists customers with product information and other inquiries
- Provides prices and quotes within customer/dealer timelines
- Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products, and market strategies
- Responsible for the day-to-day interactions and sales functions between customers, and the product supply functions within Stanley Boats
- Client service via telephone, in-person, and electronic communications
- Development of industry and product knowledge to enhance client service

**_What do you need to succeed?_**
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge
- Familiarization with manufacturing and assembly of materials, preference given to those with previous marine experience
- Knowledge or experience within the Boat Industry
- A valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to read blue prints and understand work orders
- High attention to detail is required in order to achieve quality standards
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

**_WORKING CONDITIONS_**
- Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
- Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which may cause periods of discomfort, high noise levels
- Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed
- Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
