Applied Industrial Technologies LP is an extensive network of industrial distribution facilities located throughout Canada. We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of General Manager of the OEM Sales for Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec and Maritimes), reporting to the Director OEMTS East you will be a key stakeholder in developing market share in the OEM in Eastern Canada.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Determine sales force account assignments, monitor and review sales performances including goals achievement
- Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing sales with all products
- Engage in direct OEM sales activities - prospect for new OEM customers, set appointments for sales efforts, respond to customer’s requirements
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
- Identify opportunities to sell One Best Applied portfolio of products & services and hand off non-focus products to management
- Effectively manage customer base to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships with your fellow staff members
- Attend training and sales meetings as required
- Applied will provide technical and product training for all major lines.
- Manage and assist in developing sales expertise and knowledge of product lines and services
- Prepare and develop annual budget including sales, margin, and expenses.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience with a focus on OEM customers/clients is required
- Sales Management experience
- Market knowledge
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated decision making and leadership abilities
- CFPS (Certified Fluid Power Specialist) would be an asset
- Be sales and service oriented
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Deliver on growth and profitability
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Have good organizational skills
- Maintain customer relations and build new relationships
- Analytical and problem-solving capability
- Must be able to build relationships with inside sales force and other team members
- Proven ability to work in a team environment

Applied Industrial Technologies LP est un vaste réseau d’installations de distribution industrielles situées partout au Canada. - Responsable du développement des nouvelles affaires ainsi que du maintien des ventes existantes avec tous les produits
- S’engager dans des activités de vente directe OEM - prospect pour les nouveaux clients OEM, fixer des rendez-vous pour les efforts de vente, répondre aux exigences du client
- Travailler avec la direction pour développer des stratégies de vente et de nouvelles perspectives commerciales
- Identifier les opportunités de vendre un portefeuille de produits et de services le mieux appliqué et de transmettre des produits non ciblés à la direction
- Gérer efficacement la clientèle pour atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de vente
- Maintenir des relations d’équipe coopératives et productives avec vos collègues membres du personnel.
- Assister à des réunions de formation et de vente au besoin
- Applied fournira une formation technique et de produit pour toutes les grandes lignes.
- Gérer et aider à développer l’expertise en vente et la connaissance des gammes de produits et des services
- Préparer et développer le budget annuel, y compris les ventes, la marge et les dépenses.
- 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans l’industrie avec un accent sur les clients OEM est nécessaire
