**The Role**
- Build, repair, service, and troubleshoot various hydraulic components or systems.
- Test rebuilt components or systems to verify acceptable results.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and work area at all times to ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment, performing various cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
- Provide technical support for inside sales representatives
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Additional responsibilities, as requested.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Millwright or equivalent experience;
- Fluid Power Training, an asset;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in hydraulic troubleshooting;
- Basic machining knowledge required (e.g. lathe, milling machine);
- Fabrication experience and basic electrical knowledge considered an asset;
- Strong working knowledge of heavy duty tools and equipment;
- Must be mechanically inclined with a good learning capacity;
- The ability to effectively communicate technical issues;
- Service and team orientation.
