**SUMMARY**

The Document Control Specialist will interact with Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production and Program Management Staff and serve as their primary interface for product and process documentation control. The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for managing all customer documentation and Bills of Materials, as well as company process documentation according to established company procedures. In addition, the Document Control Specialist will understand and manage shop floor control systems alongside administering equipment calibration and maintenance logs and procedures.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set up product Bills of Materials (BoM) in MRP System (Syspro)
- Create products and load jobs in Tecnomatix shop floor control system
- Manage implementation of engineering change orders (ECN/ECO), process change orders (PCN) or material change orders (MCO) in MRP/Tecnomatix and coordinating with effected functional groups
- Initiate ECN/ECO where required
- Maintain Internal ISO and External Customer Documents Controlled Documents / Data
- Compare customer and system BoM's using automatic software tools and manual checks
- Manage and liaise return merchandise authorization (RMA) activities
- Process scrap material reports in MRP and Tecnomatix
- Flexible and Customer Cross Training support to other document control staff as required
- Perform other responsibilities as required

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications/Programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
- Advanced understanding of Arena, Adobe Livecycle, Siemens eMES
- Thorough understanding of Syspro, with special emphasis on Inventory, Job, & RMA Queries
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the EMS industry
- Knowledge of electronic assembly and documentation would be considered a definite asset

**EDUCATION**
- Completed College Diploma or University Degree in Business Administration, Systems, Electronics, or Technology related function required OR Completed University Degree in any discipline along with relevant experience in a similar role
- College Diploma, Certificate or other education in a suitable technical qualification/ experience preferably in manufacturing/ engineering is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- A minimum of 5 years in Electronics or related Manufacturing Document Control Role desirable
- Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship

**LOCATION**
- The position location is based in our Markham, Ontario, Canada facility

**WORK HOURS**
- Normal scheduled hours of work: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Office Hours
- Incumbent must be open and willing to work hybrid schedule with a combination of both on-site and remote work
