**About the Team**

You’ll be joining the US Sales Operations & Analytics team supporting from Canada. This is a tight-knit group of analysts and specialists who combine their technical and interpersonal skills to amplify the success of our go-to-market teams. The working style of this team involves a high degree of collaboration between each other and their stakeholders. Leadership takes a hands off approach to tasks, but is always there to guide and support where needed. The team prides itself on its drive, integrity and the crucial role that they play as business partners for go-to-market teams.**What you'll do**:

- Be the local owner of all things related to sales performance and commission payments for the US, Canada and United Kingdom teams
- Champion the use and maintenance of Xero’s compensation tool Xactly
- Work closely with the regional Sales Operations team and Global Commissions team to ensure that comp calculations are accurate, timely and appropriately adjusted if need be
- Make recommendations on compensation structures and payout weights for KPIs that are aligned to business objectives
- Use historic target and performance data to inform decisions on future target setting
- Engage Sales leaders to ensure that they complete their required inputs and sign-offs for processing comp payments
- Communicate timelines and any changes to all stakeholders when they occur
- You’ll be accountable for:

- Ensuring commission payments are delivered accurately and on a timely basis
- Timely completion, delivery and signing of comp plans
- Complying with Global and regional procedures related to comp payments

**About you**:

- In order to thrive in this role, you will need to be highly organized, a proactive problem solver and have exceptional attention to detail.
- The role requires 5 years+ experience working in the sales compensation space and the ability to create reliable processes that deliver error-free compensation payouts.
- Xero is a fast paced growth environment, therefore you will need to enjoy the challenges that come with an ever changing sales environment with limited technological systems.

**What you'll bring with you - Basic Qualifications**:

- 5+ years in processing commission calculations and payments for sales reps
- Proven ability to create, maintain and improve end-to-end processes for compensation validation
- Strong Google Sheets skills: pivoting, vlookups, clean formatting and ability to diagnose broken worksheets
- Ability to analyze targets and actuals to determine whether targets have been set appropriately
- Ability to effectively communicate and document timelines and any changes to stakeholders

**What you'll bring with you - Preferred Qualifications**:

- 5+ years working in a fast paced environment with frequent changes to compensation structures
- Experience using Xactly compensation processing software is an asset
- Experience working with Global counterparts and having to manage time-zone challenges
